Ottawa ON – Deflated manager of procurement, acknowledges he “forgot” his presentation at home, wasting everyone’s time at the meeting, and forcing the meeting to be re-scheduled one month out.
Kayden Jr LeBlanc, purchasing manager, nephew of Ashton LeBlanc, CEO of Ciqpac Holdings, a manufacturer of aluminum beer cans, alleges that he had forgotten his presentation at home for an important meeting where he was to present to the board of director the results on lates efforts for reducing cost of purchasing. The error in judgement forced meeting to be re-scheduled further out one month.

The situation got dire later in the afternoon, when Kayden Jr was pressed by Neil MacDonald, Senior VP Supply Chain. Kayden Jr. LeBlanc admitted that he had nothing to present. I’ve been racking my brain for months on how to reduce purchasing cost. I couldn’t come up with anything. I need to prove I could do this job to my uncle. “Last month I instructed my team to split all purchased into multiple purchase order” said Kayden Jr. “I was to report to the board the results as cost per purchase order or cost per purchase order line”.
On my way to the meeting, I overhear the accounting team, by the water cooler, complaining that they had to work overtime to process increased number of vouchers and vendor invoices. Mary, the AP clerk said that Pam Drummond, head of finance, was going to bring up the matter at meeting. “So I panicked and made up something to delay the meeting” said Mr LeBlanc.
When Oversharing.ca pressed Mr MacDonald for comments. He said “no comments”. While walking away MacDonald was overheard muttering “f@#king nepotism”.
